I'm running the following workshop at Craft Central, London E14 3AE: Japanese katazome (or stencil dyeing) is a centuries-old method of printing on cloth using paper stencils and a rice paste resist in combination with indigo. In this one-day workshop we’ll look briefly at the history of this art, before using traditional Japanese stencil pa per to hand cut stencils.
