Japanese Textiles and Craft Festival March 2020
The Japanese Textiles and Craft Festival 2020 is part of the official Japan-UK Season of Culture 2019 - 2020 and features artists from Japan and the UK working in a range of Japanese textile and other media including Saori weaving, sakiori, shibori, boro and katazome. I'll be exhibiting katazome handprinted silk gauze panels inspired by drawings from the Jurassic Coast, and doing a couple of katazome demonstrations. There will be a variety of demonstrations and workshops, a pop-up Japanese bakery and an exhibition shop - please see the exhibition website for full details:
